In Loving Honor of MarySue (Sue) Dougherty

Sue, along with her co-founders, formed 1854 Cares, a service group at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in September 2016. The community group’s mission is “Members serving those in need in the Philadelphia area.” 1854 Cares soon partnered with Philly House.
Sue is known for her "service with a smile". She was a "frequent flyer" at Philly House, serving lunch twice a month, and always gave her time to deliver gift bags, blankets, pillows or anything they needed. Sue consistently found ways to serve. 
Your gift today carries on Sue's impact to those experiencing homelessness and provides life-saving shelter, including covering the cost of meals, spiritual care, and access to other community resources to escape homelessness.
