The kitchen floor at Philly House has deteriorated beyond repair. After serving over 100,000 meals every year—three times a day, every day—the wear has finally caught up. It’s no longer safe—and we must replace it immediately to keep the meals moving.
To ensure that no one misses a meal, we’ve shifted to a temporary mobile kitchen. It’s allowing us to keep serving, but it comes at a steep cost: $15,000 every month. That much money going to a temporary solution simply isn’t sustainable.
